My name is Sarah and I am a small town girl trying to get accustomed to life in a “big” city. I am redeemed by Christ, wife to a nerdy computer guy, and a lover of arts and crafts. If you can DIY, then why buy?

The Lord has blessed me with the job of my dreams: event planning for a small consulting company. This position not only allows me to be creative in my workplace, but also enables time for me to take care of my household as well as cook, craft, and decorate to my heart’s content.

Labeling my style is difficult for me, but I will call it a little rustic mixed with a little country but very simple. It’s definitely not far off from what is popular in the world of style right now, but it is nonetheless uniquely me. This blog will be a collection of the things that I love; hopefully sharing them will inspire others as well.
